The André and Lucia Maggi Foundation is launching the Virtual Showcase, where organizations and social initiatives from the areas of health, education and social protection to minimize the impacts of the pandemic have their causes disclosed to thus raise more resources, in addition to increasing visibility for their work. To take part in this collective movement, just access the website https://incentivo.fundacaoandreeluciamaggi.org.br/vitrine, learn about the initiatives, choose your cause and make a donation starting at BRL 10,00.

The Foundation also took advantage of the Donation Day, celebrated on Tuesday, December 1st, to launch the Virtual Showcase. The date aims to promote a culture of giving to social projects around the world. Through the dynamics of Match funding, social initiatives may have the amount collected in the Showcase doubled by the Foundation until the end of February, when the site will be on the air (up to a maximum amount of BRL 10,000 for Legal Entities and BRL 5,000 for Private Individuals). All resources will be transferred directly to the selected organizations and initiatives.

These are initiatives from the states of Amazonas, Mato Grosso and Rondônia that act on the front lines with the most vulnerable audiences affected by COVID-19. The Virtual Showcase is part of the Foundation’s Emergency Incentive, which aims to encourage organizations and social initiatives to continue with these actions and have strength to resume their activities and projects in 2021.

In addition to taking part in the Showcase, the Showcase is offering a series of incentives such as financial resources (up to BRL 10,000 to social organizations and up to BRL 5,000 to social initiatives), training and online meetings to promote networking.

The Foundation’s President, Belisa Maggi, highlights that it is social initiatives that are making a difference in emergency actions during the pandemic and that need encouragement to generate more impact. “These are projects that are making a difference in their communities but that with the pandemic are facing even more difficulties in maintaining their activities. We want to give visibility to these causes so that they can raise more resources in order to continue their work and each donation is an incentive for the whole society”.
